BuzzWorks, a managed office brand owned by real estate conglomerate Brigade Group has announced its plans for expansion. The company currently offers over 2,400 seats across the country which is at 99 percent occupancy. Riding the wave of increased demand for flexible office spaces post pandemic, the company intends to double its inventory along with increasing in presence in cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi and GIFT City in FY 2024.
In an interview captured by Realty+ Magazine, the Joint Managing Director of Brigade Enterprises Ltd Nirupa Shankar spoke about the company’s vision and goals for the coming year. According to Shankar, the company intends to create value-added services for office occupiers who are hunting for flexible office space, aspiring to become a one-stop-shop all for its customers needs. Pre-covid, flexible office space accounted for only 5-7% of all office space. However, post the pandemic, managed office and flexible office providers now account for 25% of the market for office leases in the post-Covid period.
BuzzWorks, Brigade's newest offering in Whitefield's Brigade Tech Park, will have 750 seats. The space will include a host of amenities, such as a gym, pool, and library. To give users a calm workspace, the building also incorporates eco-friendly materials for the wall decorations and has a lot of open green space inside.
The managed office spaces of BuzzWorks are built using a plug-and-play paradigm which lowers overall costs. The spaces are optimised for collaborative work regardless of the size of the team, with plenty of break-out spaces within the facility, as well as recreational amenities and the option of expanding within the Brigade building when the size of the team increases. This is accomplished by combining biophilic design and clever management.
