Hyderabad's old city to welcome Rs 700 crore iTEK Nucleus IT tower

In a bid to extend the technological advancements of Hyderabad to the Old City, the Telangana government has announced the construction of a Rs 700 crore IT tower in Malakpet. This ambitious project, termed as the 'iTEK Nucleus', is expected to sprawl across an impressive 11 acres with a built-up space of approximately 15 lakh square feet. This infusion of technology into the heart of the city promises to open up a staggering 50,000 job opportunities.
Positioned in the Moosarambagh vicinity of the Old City, this 30-story edifice is poised to dominate the skyline with a panoramic sky lounge that offers a 360-degree view of the expansive Hyderabad city. Additionally, in keeping with sustainable building practices, the iTEK Nucleus will sport a gold rating from the Indian Green Building Council.
The project is a collaboration between the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) and the Finczars consortium. This consortium is a robust mix of leading developers: Hyderabad's Finczars, Mumbai's Varma Constructions, and Gurugram's YFC Projects. The architectural brilliance behind this initiative is credited to the Old City's Mir Architects & Engineers.
During the foundation stone-laying event, KTR, a prominent figure in the Telangana government, expressed confidence that the project would reach completion within the next 36 months. He envisions the iTEK Nucleus as the contemporary emblem of the Old City, rising majestically over Malakpet. With a commitment to enhancing the tech ecosystem of the Old City, KTR assured that the government would encourage IT magnates to establish their offices within this state-of-the-art facility.
KTR emphasized that the Malakpet IT Tower would serve as a crucible for innovation and collaboration, drawing experts from diverse fields to forge groundbreaking technologies and applications. He further highlighted the government's dedication to bolstering the city's infrastructure and transportation, catering to Hyderabad's accelerated growth. A notable mention was the future plan to extend the metro rail line, aiming to envelop the entire city across 415 km. KTR also took a moment to celebrate Hyderabad's legacy of communal harmony, referencing its iconic Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb.
In conclusion, the iTEK Nucleus stands as a testament to Hyderabad's forward momentum in embracing technology and development. As the city continues to evolve, projects like these not only boost the local economy but also reaffirm Hyderabad's position as a technological and cultural nexus in India.
