Lotus Arena Project rescued by Purvanchal Group, buyers eager for timely completion

The Purvanchal Group, a well-known real estate developer, took over the Lotus Arena project after it was approved by the National Company Law Tribunal. The Group aims to complete the project and hand it over to the owners in a short timeframe. The project spans 12.5 acres in Noida's sector 79 and is also part of Noida's Sports City project.

With the resolution plan approved, the buyers are hopeful that the property will be completed on time by the Purvanchal Group, and they will finally be able to occupy their homes. The timeline given to the developer is thirty-six months to complete the project and deliver it to the homebuyers.

Arena Superstructures Private Limited faced significant delays in constructing the Lotus Arena project in Noida, comprising 1080 flats in 9 towers. The project was delayed by seven years due to mismanagement, slow progress, poor monitoring, and challenges in the real estate sector. Out of the 1080 flats, 858 were sold, but they remained only partially constructed, leaving the remaining flats unsold.

The President of the Lotus Arena Buyer's Association, Mr. Vishwanath Sharma, expressed the joy of the buyers after waiting for almost ten years for the NCLT's approval of Purvanchal Group's resolution plan. Among 17 realty firms, Purvanchal Group was selected to complete the project. The Chairman and Managing Director of Purvanchal Group, Mr. Shah Alam, assured that they would fulfil their commitment as outlined in the submitted plan, which amounts to Rs. 584 crore.

Purvanchal Group has a reputation for delivering quality projects on time, and they aim to uphold the same standard by completing the Lotus Arena project as per the schedule. For the hopeful homebuyers, the dream of owning their homes will soon become a reality once the flats are handed over by the Purvanchal Group.
