In addition to the shop issue, residents also reported a stray dog problem within the society. One resident pointed out that group housing does not permit commercial shops and that building bylaws mandate that convenience shops be constructed for the use of the residents.
Furthermore, residents claim that the builder has not only ignored their concerns but has also threatened to file false cases against them. Kanchan Arora, another resident, stated that the protest was their last resort after exhausting all other options to resolve the matter. The builder has not responded to any calls or requests for comment.
