In addition to providing affordable housing to its residents, the government has been taking several steps to boost the real estate sector in Punjab. The state government recently introduced the Punjab Land Pooling Policy to boost industrial growth and attract investment to the state. The policy aims to bring in investments worth Rs 5,000 crore and create employment opportunities for over 100,000 people. Under the policy, landowners can voluntarily pool their land for development, and the government will develop the land and provide infrastructure such as roads, water supply, and electricity.

Furthermore, the government has also announced plans to develop a 100-acre global business park near the Chandigarh airport. The business park is expected to attract investment worth Rs 5,000 crore and create employment opportunities for over 50,000 people. The government has also launched the Invest Punjab initiative to promote the state as an attractive investment destination. The initiative aims to streamline the investment process and provide a single-window clearance system to investors.

The real estate sector in Punjab has been witnessing significant growth in recent years, with several new projects being launched in major cities such as Ludhiana, Chandigarh, and Amritsar. The government's initiatives to boost the sector are expected to further accelerate this growth and provide a much-needed boost to the state's economy.
