GNIDA reclaims INR 120 crore worth of land from encroachers

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has reclaimed 60,000 square meters of land, valued at a staggering INR 120 crore, from encroachers. This significant action comes after a rigorous demolition operation carried out by the local work circle team.
Illegal constructions were identified on parcels of land spanning 40,000 square meters in Kheda Chauganpur and 20,000 square meters in Bisrakh, areas that had been designated by GNIDA. GNIDA's Officer on Special Duty, Himanshu Verma, confirmed the successful reclaiming of these lands from encroachers.
Mr. Verma further highlighted that the collective market value of the reclaimed lands amounts to approximately INR 120 crore, signifying the substantial impact of the operation.
GNIDA's CEO, N G Ravi Kumar, issued a stern warning to the public, cautioning them against falling victim to fraudulent developers. He emphasized the importance of exercising caution and diligence to avoid financial losses.
Additionally, CEO Ravi Kumar reiterated GNIDA's stance on unauthorized construction within Greater Noida's designated areas. He urged individuals to seek guidance from the authority and obtain complete information before engaging in any land transactions within the region.
This decisive action by GNIDA not only reinforces the authority's commitment to upholding legal regulations but also serves as a deterrent to potential encroachers and fraudulent developers. The reclaiming of valuable land assets underscores the significance of enforcing lawful practices in land development and transactions within Greater Noida.
