Awfis, a name in the flexible workspace solutions sector, has recently expanded its presence in Bhubaneshwar, adding to its already substantial footprint in India. The company inaugurated its third and largest centre in the city, covering nearly 1 lakh square feet of space. Situated at the Odisha Technology Centre, Anand Bazar, this new facility was officially opened by the esteemed Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik.
The Bhubaneshwar centre is specifically tailored to accommodate the needs of two Fortune 500 companies specialising in Information Technology services and Consulting. One of these clients, a key partner of Awfis, has extended its reach from cities like Indore, Jaipur, and Nagpur to now include Bhubaneshwar, occupying a five-storey space spanning over 46,642 square feet. The other client has opted for a six-storey office covering approximately 50,000 square feet within the same premise.
Featuring a range of amenities including meeting rooms, collaborative spaces, recreational areas, a cafeteria, and workstations, the managed office space offers a holistic workspace solution customized to the specific requirements and preferences of the clients. The interiors of the office spaces draw inspiration from the rich heritage of Odisha, incorporating elements such as classical dance, coconut paintings, and hand-painted wall sets, as well as a colour palette reflecting the natural beauty of Bhubaneshwar's historical monuments and landscapes.
Amit Ramani, Chairman and Managing Director of Awfis Space Solutions Limited, emphasised the significance of this collaboration, highlighting the growing trend towards flexible working among large corporations. The expansion of Awfis into Tier II cities like Bhubaneshwar underscores the potential of these markets and the company's commitment to innovation and modern infrastructure.
