Asset Homes, a renowned real estate developer in Kerala, is venturing into the luxury senior living market to cater to the state's growing elderly population. Partnering with Columbia Pacific Communities, India’s leading senior living community operators, Asset Homes aims to operate 'Young @ Heart' Senior Living projects across Kerala. A memorandum of understanding was signed between Sunil Kumar V, Founder and Managing Director of Asset Homes, and Sivakumar V, Director of Columbia Pacific Communities, and the collaboration aims to bring together local expertise and global experience.
With India's senior population projected to reach 500 million by 2050, there's a pressing need for high-quality, fully serviced senior living facilities. Columbia Pacific Communities, a subsidiary of the Seattle-based Columbia Pacific Group, boasts over four decades of experience in constructing and managing senior living communities worldwide.
Asset Homes plans to launch four 'Asset Young @ Heart' projects in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kochi, and Kozhikode. These luxury projects, totaling around 1000 units, are scheduled for launch in Q1 of the 2024-25 fiscal year. Asset Homes has also introduced four distinct housing categories, including 'Senior Living,' designed as a sanctuary for retirees, focusing on their comfort and needs to ensure a vibrant post-retirement lifestyle.
