Purva Soukhyam: A wellness-themed plotted development in Guduvancheri, Chennai

Purva Land, the plotted development arm of Puravankara Limited, recently launched a 'wellness' themed plotted project, Purva Soukhyam, in Guduvancheri, Chennai. This 120-acre development offers over 2,200 plots ranging from 600 sq. ft. to 5,000 sq. ft. with 35+ amenities, including a 30,000 sq. ft. clubhouse. The project incorporates comprehensive wellness-focused amenities, sustainable design, and integration with nature to enhance residents' quality of life.

Driven by post-pandemic preferences for open spaces and personalized home designs, Puravankara anticipates increased demand for plotted developments. By offering plots, the company aims to give buyers the flexibility of being able to construct customised homes best suited to their needs. Presently, more than 85 percent of the company's demand comes from end-users.

Purva Soukhyam features health and fitness programs, yoga and meditation classes, spa services, nutritional counselling, sports courts, swimming pools, outdoor fitness areas, walking and cycling tracks, meditation zones, green spaces, and community gathering spots to promote an active lifestyle.

Strategically located in Chennai's southern region, just 10 minutes from Grand Southern Trunk Road, Purva Soukhyam ensures excellent connectivity. The project is approximately 20 km from Chennai International Airport and is accessible in 35 minutes via NH 32. Its proximity to reputed educational institutions and healthcare facilities further enhances its appeal.

Puravankara, with residential brands Purva, Purva Land, and Provident Housing Ltd, caters to diverse market segments. While Provident Housing Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary, the proposal to hive-off Purva Land into a separate, wholly-owned legal entity is under consideration. Purva Land is currently valued at Rs 1,000 crores and is expected to double in the next financial year.

Puravankara, present in nine cities, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai, is currently interested in the NCR region. The company has delivered over 45 million sq ft across 80 projects, has 29 million sq ft under construction and a land bank exceeding 40 million sqft.

For the first nine months of the current financial year, Puravankara reported an 89% increase in sales, reaching Rs 3,967 crores. As the demand for plotted developments continues to rise, Purva Soukhyam adds to Puravankara's portfolio, offering a unique wellness-focused living experience in Chennai's thriving real estate market.
