The CEO and Founder of the esteemed luxury home décor company Maison Sia, Vratika Gupta, recently bought a lavish home in Mumbai's famed "Three Sixty West" skyscraper. According to data retrieved from Indextap.com, sale took place for a sum of Rs 116.4 crore rupees. The spacious 12,138-square-foot Lower Parel condo comes with eight dedicated car parking slots. The stamp duty for the deal amounted to Rs 5.82 crore.
Vratika Gupta studied design at the Pearl Academy of Fashion and the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). She began her career at Anjuman Fashions Ltd. as an apparel designer and worked as ANJU MODI's designer from 2009 to 2011. Then, from 2011 to 2016, Gupta worked as the Design Director at Two White Birds, which she co-founded. Two White Birds gained recognition for its ability to combine Western inspirations and vivid Indian heritage with fine craftsmanship and traditional textiles.
In 2017, Gupta embraced entrepreneurship, forming Vratika & Nakul alongside her husband Nakul Aggarwal. The brand focused on crafting handcrafted pieces infused with a fusion of Indian heritage and Western aesthetics. Maison Sia, Gupta's brainchild founded in 2022, further expanded her creative endeavors into the realm of luxury home décor, drawing inspiration from her passion for travel and appreciation for unconventional architecture.
Notable women like Ritu Kumar with her globally recognised fashion brand, Indra Nooyi who led PepsiCo to new heights, and Falguni Nayar, the visionary behind Nykaa, have become powerful examples of women's growing influence in various entrepreneurial ventures. As more women step into entrepreneurship, they have also ventured into real estate. Ritu Kumar has bought a home in Goa designed around a 400-year-old Banyan tree. She is also known to own a luxurious farmhouse in Mehrauli, Delhi, although the details of the purchase are not publicly known. Falguni Nayar recently bought a bungalow in Juhu.
Gupta has chosen to remain silent on the recent real estate acquisition. However, we do know that Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput will be her new neighbours. The couple paid Rs 55.9 crore in June 2018 for an 8,625 square foot home in the same high rise ‘Three Sixty West’. Another Bollywood celebrity to buy an apartment here is Akshay Kumar, who has put in Rs 29.94 crore. Another neighbour would be Niraj Bajaj, the MD and Chairman of Mukand, a stainless-steel manufacturer. He had paid Rs 120 crore in a record deal to purchase a property in the same complex last year.
The "Three Sixty West'' complex itself has been a hub of noteworthy real estate activities. In 2023, it made headlines for recording India's largest property deal when family members and associates of D'Mart founder Radhakrishna Damani purchased 28 units for a staggering Rs 1,238 crore. The project continued to attract attention with the promoter of Everest Food Products Private Limited investing Rs 73.50 crore in an apartment in October of the same year.Amidst these high-profile transactions, the complex saw other notable deals, such as Avener Capital and Bajaj Consultants acquiring a duplex for around Rs 100 crore in March 2023.
The "Three Sixty West'' project, features luxury 4 BHK and 5 BHK units across two towers, stands tall not just in height (360 meters) but also in its unique positioning with all apartments facing west, offering residents breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea.
