In a bold move to address the rampant issue of illegal constructions, Thane Municipal Corporation's (TMC) Commissioner, Abhijit Bangar, has announced a comprehensive month-long operation to begin on January 10. The operation also entails a comprehensive demolition drive, with a focus on not only dismantling structures but also ensuring the complete flattening of unauthorized buildings.
