The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is poised to develop a new residential sector, tentatively named Sector 5, in proximity to the upcoming Noida International Airport. With a proposed land acquisition of nearly 1100 hectares, YEIDA aims to cater to robust buyer interest, strategically positioning the sector near the Jewar airport. The proposal is set to be sent to the district administration shortly.
The acquisition process for the 1,100 hectares is anticipated to commence shortly, with completion targeted by December 2023 or January 2024. Following land acquisition, YEIDA plans to initiate the development of the residential sector, featuring both residential plots and group housing societies.
In YEIDA's proposal, 50% of the land is earmarked for a scheme comprising 2,000 residential plots within the new Sector 5. The expected launch of this residential scheme is slated for January-February 2024, building on the considerable public interest witnessed in YEIDA's previous residential plots scheme introduced in 2023. The sector's proximity to the new airport and the Yamuna Expressway, connecting Greater Noida with Agra, is expected to contribute to its appeal.
YEIDA also envisions direct connectivity between the Yamuna Expressway and Chola Railway Station in Bulandshahr district through the new sector, further enhancing accessibility. These developments are part of YEIDA's comprehensive plan, aligning with the Master Plan 2041. Any changes related to the inclusion of the new residential sector will be seamlessly integrated into the master plan before its submission to the state government for final approval.
