BNY Mellon secures 162,000 Sq Ft office space in Kalyani Nagar, Pune

American investment banking services company, The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (BNY Mellon), has acquired more than 162,000 square feet of flexible workspace in Pune through a lease agreement with 315Work Avenue, a leading co-working office provider.
The New York-headquartered financial giant has expanded its office presence to span five entire floors at Raheja Woods, strategically located in Pune's bustling commercial hub of Kalyani Nagar. This expansion follows 315Work Avenue's earlier leasing of these five floors in Raheja Woods for a long-term period of five years, marking a crucial milestone in BNY Mellon's ongoing expansion efforts.
BNY Mellon has been actively growing its footprint in India, with recent reports indicating that the bank had signed a lease for an entire tower with nearly 1 million square feet of office space in Pune's Kharadi locality from realty developer Prestige Group for a tenure of nine years. Executive Oversight-Logistics & Industrial India at ILL is said to have facilitated the deal.
BNY Mellon's presence in India dates back to its Mumbai representative office, established in 1983, which continues to serve as a key liaison point for the Indian client base. Over the years, the bank has expanded its operations across multiple Indian cities, including Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai, with more than 12,000 employees in these locations.
BNY Mellon, recognized as America's oldest bank, was the first company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The bank powers capital markets worldwide, offering comprehensive solutions to help clients manage and service their financial assets throughout the investment life cycle. BNY Mellon is the corporate brand of The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, formed from the merger of The Bank of New York and the Mellon Financial Corporation in 2007
