The renewal spans a five-year term, with a monthly rent of Rs 2.5 crore, according to documents obtained from Propstack. The leased commercial space, totalling 5.42 lakh square feet, is situated in the Embassy Crest building in Whitefield, covering the ground, first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth floors. The lease officially commenced on May 1, 2023, and the company has committed a substantial security deposit of Rs 48 crore.
Mercedes-Benz has secured office premises specially designed for research and development (R&D), IT, and related purposes in the A and B wings of the building, as outlined in the document. Notably, the documents indicate that the agreement incorporates an escalation clause, enabling an annual increase of 5 percent.
