The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) is embarking on an unprecedented initiative aimed at improved urban planning in the city. It plans to conduct a comprehensive real estate survey to evaluate and enhance various parameters of properties.
The ambitious survey will delve into critical aspects of real estate properties, including possession of occupational certificates, their sewerage and drainage systems, solid waste management practices, parking facilities, fire safety and other security arrangements. By scrutinizing these components, the BDA intends to gain insights into the existing conditions of the city's infrastructure, paving the way for strategic improvements to enrich urban life for residents.
A consultant will be chosen to execute the survey on behalf of the BDA. This selected consultant will undertake the task of assessing the specified parameters and is expected to submit a detailed report within three months. The subsequent actions by the BDA will be guided by the findings of this survey, strategically aligning with the goal of promoting better urban living conditions.
The BDA has outlined a sample set of questions that surveyors will use to gather pertinent information about real estate properties on the ground. The initial focus is on surveying 1,800 properties, encompassing a diverse range of residential, institutional, and commercial establishments. However, officials acknowledge that based on the ground-level survey, the number of properties under consideration may expand as the assessment includes residential, institutional and commercial properties.
