Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee and his wife Shabana Bajpayee have purchased four office units measuring 7,620 square feet (sq ft) carpet area in the Oshiwara area of Mumbai for Rs 32.94 crore. The building is named Signature Building and is sold by Veer Savarkar Projects Private Limited. It is located off Veera Desai Road in Oshiwara.
According to documents accessed from Floortap.com, Bajpayee paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.86 crore for the four office units and Rs 30,000 as registration charges for the purchase of each office unit.
According to the documents, the four office units have a built-up area of 2,099 sq ft each and a carpet area of 1,905 sq ft carpet each. The agreement value of the four office units is Rs 31.08 crore, which is Rs 7.77 crore per unit. The four office units come with nine car parking slots.
Over the past few months, many Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn have bought commercial space in the same project. Bachchan had acquired office units on the 21st floor and paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.72 crore for the registration of the deals. Kartik Aryan and Sara Ali Khan’s units have acquired properties on the fourth floor of the tower. Ajay Devgn bought five office units in the project for Rs 45.09 crore and later in July this year, Kajol purchased an office space spread over nearly 2,100 sq ft in this tower for Rs 7.64 crore.
Meanwhile, in 2023, several notable Bollywood actors signed real estate property deals in Mumbai. This includes Bollywood actor Kartik Aryan, who bought an apartment in the Juhu area for Rs 17.50 crore. These deals emphasize on the city's enduring allure for celebrities seeking opulent residences and office spaces.
