Bollywood legends Amitabh Bachchan, Kartik Aryan, and Sara Ali Khan, along with Amrita Singh, have made substantial property acquisitions in a commercial project located in the Oshiwara area of Mumbai's Andheri suburb. Bachchan secured four offices spanning almost 8,400 sq ft for an approximate sum of Rs 29 crore. Kartik Aryan acquired an office covering nearly 2,100 sq ft for Rs 10 crore, while Sara Ali Khan and Amrita Singh jointly purchased a similarly sized office for Rs 9 crore. Interestingly, actors Ajay Devgan and Kajol had previously invested in offices within the same project.
These acquisitions took place under the Veer Savarkar Projects realty developer, with Bachchan paying a stamp duty of Rs 1.72 crore for the registration of these deals, which occurred on September 1. Bachchan's offices are located on the 21st floor, whereas Kartik Aryan and Sara Ali Khan's units are on the fourth floor of the tower.
Kartik Aryan also made headlines in July when he acquired a luxurious apartment in Mumbai's upscale Juhu locality for Rs 17.50 crore. This apartment, with nearly 1,594 sq ft of space, is situated on the second floor of the Siddhi Vinayak Building in the Presidency Society, where the actor's family already owns an apartment.
Additionally, in July, Kajol purchased an office space spanning nearly 2,100 sq ft within the same tower for Rs 7.64 crore. Her husband, actor Ajay Devgan, had previously secured five office properties for Rs 45 crore in the same building back in April. These five properties collectively occupy 13,293 sq ft across the 16th and 17th floors of the tower.
The project, featuring 28 upper floors and four basements, is currently under construction and is scheduled for completion in June 2025, according to registration details available on the portal of the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority.
