Mahindra Lifespaces collaborates with KidZania to empower children as sustainability advocates

Mahindra Lifespaces Developers Limited (MLDL), the real estate and infrastructure development branch of the Mahindra Group, has embarked on a collaboration with KidZania Mumbai. This partnership aims to empower children as architects of a sustainable future by merging Mahindra Lifespaces' dedication to 'Crafting Life' with KidZania's immersive edutainment approach. Through upcoming experiences within KidZania Mumbai, children will be immersed in an interactive environment, facilitating playful and exploratory learning about sustainability.

This is a noteworthy collaboration between Mahindra Lifespaces Developers Limited (MLDL), the real estate and infrastructure development division of the Mahindra Group, and KidZania Mumbai. This initiative is designed to empower children as advocates of a sustainable future and is in alignment with MLDL's flagship CSR program, the 'Green Army,' which educates and motivates school children towards adopting sustainable lifestyles.

With a vision to 'Create One Million Caring Citizens,' Mahindra Lifespaces has already impacted over 472 schools, 77,000 children, and 3 lakh citizens across prominent cities like Mumbai, MMR, Pune, Nagpur, Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru.

Mahindra Lifespaces' 'Experiences' provide an engaging platform for children to unleash their creativity while learning about sustainable development. The initiative comprises three experiences: the Sustainable Design Studio, Green Power Zone, and Construction Zone. These interactive zones enable children to grasp sustainable practices through hands-on activities. The state-of-the-art Sustainable Design Studio allows children to design and construct their sustainable developments. The Green Power Zone educates them about renewable energy, while the Construction Zone allows younger children to simulate building homes using imitation materials, including a functional crane for material transportation.

Upon completion of the experiences, children will receive the title of 'Green Army Architect.' They can design a residential project from scratch, understand the significance of placing towers relative to the sun and wind paths, select appropriate building materials, and arrange project amenities.

Rahul Dhamdhere, Chief Marketing Officer of KidZania India, expressed enthusiasm about this collaboration, uniting KidZania's experiential learning approach with Mahindra Lifespaces' commitment to sustainable living spaces. Together, they aspire to nurture a generation of environmentally conscious leaders and influencers who will contribute significantly to a greener planet. This partnership underscores their collective effort to enhance children's comprehension of sustainable living and their role in shaping a better future.

The official announcement of this partnership took place during a grand launch event at KidZania Mumbai. Brand leaders addressed children and parents, with the event featuring a captivating parade that culminated in the unveiling of the Mahindra Lifespaces Experiences. This marked a moment of excitement, symbolizing the collaboration's impactful journey towards educating and inspiring young minds about sustainable living through engaging activities and experiences.
