Embracing innovation, the Tamil Nadu Small Industries Development Corporation (Sidco) has unveiled an extraordinary opportunity for industrial growth in Ariyalur district. With the launch of the sale of the first Sidco industrial estate, situated along the bustling Ariyalur-Jayankondam highway, a wave of potential is set to transform the region. Spanning an expansive 28.5 acres, the Sidco industrial space has undergone recent development, boasting a comprehensive range of basic amenities. Sidco's meticulous planning has carved out 26 industrial plots, each one a canvas for entrepreneurial dreams. During the initial phase, four plots have already found their future owners.
At the outset, Sidco priced these industrial lands, ranging from 10 to 20 cents, at an attractive 61 lakh. However, the corporation swiftly responded to market demands and revised the cost to a competitive 51 lakh per plot, further enhancing the investment allure. Recognizing the significance of nurturing first-generation entrepreneurs, the district administration approached Sidco with a visionary proposal. In response, Sidco eagerly engaged with higher authorities to explore the potential for reducing the land cost even further. This bold move aims to create an accessible environment for aspiring business pioneers to establish their foothold and drive economic progress.
