Kartik Aryan buys luxury apartment in Juhu for Rs 17.50 crore

Kartik Aaryan, the Bollywood actor, has paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.05 crore for the registration of his luxury apartment in Juhu, Mumbai. The deal, which took place on June 30, was executed by the actor's mother on his behalf. The transaction grants Aaryan exclusive access to two car parking slots in the residential tower. Previously, actor Rajkumar Rao purchased a triplex apartment in Juhu for nearly Rs 44 crore from Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of late actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor.

This deal valued the 3,456-square-foot apartment at approximately Rs 1.27 lakh per square foot, ranking it among the country's most expensive residential transactions. In January, Aaryan also leased a luxury apartment in Juhu for three years from actor Shahid Kapoor, with a total rental pay out of over Rs 2.89 crore. Juhu is not only known for housing Bollywood celebrities but also prominent figures from the industrial and corporate worlds. Personalities such as Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Virat Kohli, and Anushka Sharma have made Juhu their home. Despite rising mortgage rates and property prices, Mumbai's real estate market has sustained strong sales momentum, with a robust consumer sentiment towards home buying.

In recent quarters, several notable figures from various domains, including corporate personalities, business founders, industrialists, cricketers, and Bollywood actors, have made luxury apartment purchases in Mumbai. Public figures such as Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan, Rani Mukherjee, Alia Bhat, and Disha Patani have registered their high-end property deals in the city. This trend highlights the growing demand for luxury real estate among prominent individuals and buyers in Mumbai.
