The LuLu Group, hailing from the UAE, has recently unveiled its visionary investment blueprint of Rs 3,500 crore in the vibrant state of Telangana. Embracing the realms of food processing, logistics, and retail, the group's dynamic strategy envisions a transformational landscape. A cutting-edge logistics hub and export processing plant, poised to process an array of fruits, vegetables, millets, pulses, and spices, is poised to materialize at Shamshabad airport. Securing the necessary land from the State government, the LuLu Group will orchestrate this avant-garde facility with utmost precision and expertise.

In parallel, a pioneering integrated meat processing plant will emerge in Chengicherla, pulsating with an investment of Rs 200 crore and boasting a formidable capacity of 60 tonnes per day. This technologically advanced marvel will galvanize commercial operations in the upcoming 18 months, revolutionizing the meat processing landscape with its export-oriented focus.

It is worth noting that the LuLu Group forged a momentous alliance with the Telangana government during the World Economic Forum in Davos, signalling their unwavering commitment to this transformative journey. MA Yusuff Ali, the astute Chairman, and Managing Director of the LuLu Group, shared captivating insights into the group's vision. He expounded on the inaugural project, which encompasses an investment of Rs 500 crore dedicated to Telangana. This visionary venture has breathed new life into the erstwhile Manjeera Mall in Kukatpally, reimagining it as the splendid LuLu Mall.

With an investment of Rs 300 crore, this groundbreaking venture is poised to create a multitude of job opportunities, benefitting a staggering workforce of 2,000 individuals. Within the Mall's expansive premises, visitors will have the pleasure of exploring a colossal LuLu Hypermarket spanning over an impressive 2 lakh square feet. Additionally, they will be treated to a state-of-the-art five-screen cinema boasting a generous seating capacity of 1400, along with an array of multi-cuisine food courts and a captivating children's entertainment centre, among other delightful offerings.

The LuLu Group's visionary aspirations do not end there, as they envision the creation of three additional malls. Among them, a Destination Shopping Mall, beckoning with an investment of Rs 2,000 crore, will redefine the retail landscape in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, mini malls will dot the outskirts of the city, along with other major towns in the state. These remarkable endeavours will come to fruition as suitable land is meticulously identified, culminating in an awe-inspiring launch within 18 to 24 months. The stage is set for a paradigm shift in Telangana's retail and hospitality realms, orchestrated by the visionary prowess of the LuLu Group.

The group has established its presence in several Indian cities, including Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Coimbatore. With an $8 billion turnover, the Abu Dhabi-based Lulu Group operates a vast network of over 250 hypermarkets and 24 shopping malls across 22 countries, employing over 65,000 people worldwide.
