Tata Power, a prominent provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions in India, collaborates with the renowned Le Roi Hotels and Resorts to deploy EV charging stations across their hotel properties at various scenic locations nationwide. This visionary partnership strives to foster eco-conscious mobility and bolster the sustainability of tourist destinations. By installing 16 charging stations across eight diverse sites, the company aspires to establish an ecological corridor, facilitating clean and convenient travel throughout the country. Among the deployed stations, a balanced array of 8 rapid DC (CCS-II) chargers and 8 AC (Type II) chargers will be available, offering a comprehensive range of charging alternatives for EV owners.
Spanning across multiple Le Roi Hotels and Resorts locations, ranging from the enchanting city of Udaipur in the West to the tranquil coastal town of Digha in the East, this expansion encompasses notable destinations such as Haridwar, Jammu, Tehri, Raipur, Corbett in the North, and Koti in the South. By strategically connecting these diverse locations with EV chargers, this collaboration endeavours to establish a sustainable corridor that fosters sustainable mobility, enabling environmentally conscious travellers to conveniently explore the country while minimizing their carbon footprint. Simultaneously, it contributes to the preservation and integrity of these captivating destinations. This joint effort not only promotes green tourism but also actively contributes to the ongoing transition towards a greener and cleaner future for all.
