Kanpur Development Authority to conduct a demand survey for a group housing scheme

Kanpur Development Authority (KDA) has recently put forth an exciting proposition for the residents of the city - the introduction of multi-storey group housing residential schemes. These schemes aim to cater to the growing demand for housing options and provide an opportunity for individuals and families to reside in modern, well-designed apartments.

As part of the initiative, the KDA has planned a comprehensive demand survey, specifically targeting the construction of flats in a multi-storey group housing scheme known as the Daheli Sujanpur scheme. The primary objective of this survey is to gauge the level of interest and assess the demand for 2 and 3 BHK flats in the proposed housing scheme.

SB Rai, the law officer and public relations officer of KDA, revealed that this scheme has been set into motion under the guidance and direction of the vice chairman, Arvind Singh. In order to gather accurate data and ensure transparency, the demand survey is scheduled to take place from June 2 to June 30, 2023.

To participate in the demand survey, interested citizens are required to pay a nominal token amount. For 3 BHK flats, the token amount has been set at Rs 30,000, while for 2 BHK flats, it stands at Rs 20,200. Application forms and demand survey booklets can be obtained from the Motijheel branch of HDFC bank upon payment.

The public relations officer emphasized that it is crucial to note that this demand survey serves as an initial step in the planning process. The decision to proceed with the construction of the multi-storey group housing scheme will be made once a substantial number of applications are received. To ensure compliance with regulations and safeguard the interests of the applicants, all necessary formalities and registrations will be carried out in accordance with the rules specified by the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).

This initiative by the KDA holds great promise for the residents of Kanpur, as it addresses the pressing need for affordable and well-designed housing options. The proposed multi-storey group housing scheme offers the potential for a comfortable and modern living experience, with a range of 2 and 3 BHK flats to choose from. The demand survey is an essential step in understanding the housing requirements of the citizens, and it will play a pivotal role in determining the viability and scope of the project.

As the demand survey commences, the KDA eagerly anticipates the enthusiastic response from the public. The success of this initiative will not only alleviate the housing crisis but also contribute to the overall development and growth of Kanpur. The KDA remains committed to transparency, accountability, and fairness throughout the entire process, ensuring that the dreams of owning a modern and affordable home become a reality for many residents in the city.
