Brookfield Properties leases 18,000 SqM to Roche in Pune

Brookfield Properties reported that Roche Information Solutions India, which serves as the digital healthcare centre of expertise for Swiss biotech giant Roche, has agreed to rent out the '45ICON' workplace project in Pune, which offers an impressively modern work environment with approximately 18,000 square metres, or 2,00,000 square feet, of office space. The ownership of the asset is shared between Raviraj Abhinandan Developers and Brookfield Properties.

The much-awaited 45Icon is strategically positioned in the Baner locality of Pune, ensuring effortless connectivity to important social amenities and being in close proximity to the upcoming metro station. The work experience is about to be significantly improved with its considerate layout, high-end services, and carefully crafted amenities such as a fully equipped gym, a childcare facility, a cosy café, and a varied food hall. The bridges connecting the towers have been specifically created for improved efficiency in the workspace, and the planned spaces for people are meant to offer a chance to unwind and recharge.

The recently constructed establishment has the ability to house over 1,000 personnel and has room for future expansion. This resource will add to Roche's enduring dedication to sustainability by conforming to its sustainability standards. The objective of the new office area is to establish a captivating and successful location for Roche's staff, customers, and members of the community.

The commercial tower is occupied by major tenants such as Tarana Wireless, which offers fixed wireless access solutions, and Infobeans Cloudtech, a company providing cloud consulting and outsourcing services, alongside Roche.

Roche Pharma disclosed last year that it intends to establish its second data analytics hub in Hyderabad, India. The establishment of Roche Information Solutions India in 2015 enabled the company to utilize data analytics and workflow integration to enhance data management for medical laboratories, ultimately helping them provide more efficient patient care.

Brookfield, which is a major investor in the Indian real estate sector, possesses over 50 million square feet of property in the country's major urban centres.
