Singer Celine Dion sells lavish Las Vegas mansion for $30 million

Perhaps she preferred not to be alone in a colossal residence that spans over 31,000 square feet. Renowned singer Celine Dion has managed to sell her luxurious Las Vegas residence, featuring four bedrooms and twelve bathrooms, for a whopping $30 million. This move has inadvertently resulted in a considerable financial gain for Dion, as she benefits from the recent surge in property prices in Southern Nevada over the past few years.

With the knowledge that Dion, who is originally from Quebec, acquired the mansion for $9.2 million in 2017, the recent sale made through unofficial channels indicates that the successful singer, with several million albums sold, gained more than three times the value of her initial investment. Building records indicate that despite Dion has invested several years in renovating it. According to public records, various modifications were made, including the construction of a new section on the ground floor, the renovation of a bedroom on the upper level, and the installation of elaborate fencing.

The Summit Club, spanning over 555 acres, bills itself as the sole private residential lifestyle club in Las Vegas. Located near the famous Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and the Strip, it boasts top-notch amenities, a high-quality golf course, and one-of-a-kind cuisine that showcases local terrain.

In 2015, a collaboration between Discovery Land Co. and affluent developers birthed the community. The land in Summerlin is under the ownership of Howard Hughes Corp. Realtor.com has reported that Summerlin is home to some of the priciest residences and plots of land in Nevada. Although the median price of homes listed in April was $720,000, there is a Summit Club home listed at an exorbitant price of $19.9 million.

Dion continues to reside in the city alongside her children from her deceased former spouse and manager, Rene Angelil. Dion has recently been actively selling off his assets. In April, the female singer disposed of her deceased mother's lavish 5,000-square-foot abode located on the waterfront of Laval, which is situated approximately 19 miles in the northeast direction of Montreal.

Dion parted ways with her $28 million Jupiter Island mansion, replete with a private waterpark and river, upon initiating her residency in Las Vegas in 2017. According to accounts, she currently resides in a Las Vegas abode that is easier to maintain, valued at $1.2 million, and features three bedrooms, a swimming pool, and a partially exclusive golf course.

According to Dirt, a limited liability company listed as the buyer is connected to Bay Area private-equity tycoon Chuck Esserman and his spouse, Ivette, in records detailing the transaction. According to reports, wealthy individuals who reside in the area include Mark Wahlberg, a famous actor; Marc Andreessen, a venture capital executive; Tony Robbins, a motivational speaker; and Bill Foley, the owner of the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
