Real estate developer Oberoi Realty has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with NRB Bearings to acquire a plot of land measuring approximately 6.4 acres in Pokhran Road 2, Thane. The company has made a partial payment to NRB, with the remaining balance to be paid upon the closing of the transaction. The plot of land is adjacent to the company's existing land, which measures approximately 68 acres.
Oberoi Realty recently reported a significant increase in its net consolidated profit for the quarter ending March 31, 2023, with a growth of 106.71%. Its profit after tax stood at Rs 480.29 crore, compared to Rs 232.35 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. Its net consolidated total income also increased by 18.05% from Rs 842.94 crore to Rs 995.11 crore.
