Indore aims to boost its tech industry with two new IT Parks

The city of Indore is known for its business activities and the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) is hoping to attract more IT/ITES companies to the area. To achieve this, they are planning to build a new IT Park with co-working spaces in Electronic Complex. The proposed building will be certified as green and will include co-working spaces, restaurants, open sitting areas, and a common area. The IT Park will be developed on an area of 3,785 sq m in Sukhlia, according to the approved development plan.

The IT Park that is being proposed will include a plug-and-play facility for entrepreneurs, as well as a conference room and lounge. The goal is to obtain a certification for being environmentally friendly, and as a result, solar panels will be placed on the roof, and the building will be designed to receive direct sunlight. The park will also have parking available on the ground and podium levels for employees.

MPIDC has considered the suggestions and needs of IT companies while designing the proposed IT Park. These companies commonly requested amenities such as a shared facility centre, co-working spaces, plug-and-play facilities, gym, restaurants, and accommodation for clients visiting the companies. These demands were incorporated into the plan for the new IT Park.
