Capitaland to invest Rs 6,200 Crore in Telangana Real Estate Projects

The Telangana Government and CapitaLand India Are said to have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly establish a data centre at CLINT's International Tech Park Hyderabad (ITPH) which will be situated in Madhapur. The ITPH data will span across roughly 250,000 square feet and have a 36-megawatt (MW) power capacity. The project is anticipated to require an investment of over INR1,200 Crores (S$210 million) which will be made over the course of the following three to five years.

Nearly 70 multinational organisations and over 30,000 professionals are served by CLINT's ownership and management of three business parks in Hyderabad: ITPH, CyberPearl, and aVance. With two further data centre projects slated for two important markets, CLINT will continue to diversify its portfolio with high-quality new economy assets in order to increase value for its shareholders. CLINT had S$2.5 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2022.

The first Indian property trust in Asia, CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT), originally Ascendas India Trust (a-iTrust), was launched on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST) in August 2007. Its main goal is to acquire income-producing real estate in India that is mostly used as office space. With a total completed floor space of 15.5 million square feet distributed across Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, and Mumbai, CLINT's portfolio includes eight top-tier IT business parks, one logistics park, one industrial site and one data centre development in India.
