Paranjape Schemes launches housing project for Special Needs Children

Paranjape Schemes is developing a novel concept geared towards the need of special children and their parents. Their ambitious 'Swaniketan,' will be a pioneering project in India created to help parents and children with autism, down syndrome, intellectual disability, and cerebral palsy and other such mental and physical handicaps. The housing project will have special features and amenities that will allow families to rest, relax and enjoy their time spent within the complex.

The project is being developed as gated community comprising of 2 and 3 BHK flats in Western Pune. Only parents of special children are eligible to purchase the 240 apartments in the project's two phases. All the amenities required for special children, including medical centres, early intervention centres, round-the-clock respite centres, vocational centres, and hostels for special children will be made available.

Paranjape has pledged to make certain that all facilities are made operational before handing over flats. The company has partnered with Saad and Forum for Autism members to develop an organisation called FFL Kutumb which will oversee the management and operations of Swaniketan.

The residential project will be built in two phases, each consisting of 120 apartments. The first phase's construction will get underway in February 2023, and it likely to be completed within 2.5 to 3 years. The developers hope this project will help the special kids grow more independent which in turn will improve their parents' quality of life.
