Shriram Properties' sales bookings increase by 27% for Q2 FY22

Earlier this week Shriram Properties reported a 27% increase in their sales booking to 747 crore rupees for the quarter ending September 30 2022. Comparing the second quarter of FY23 to the first, the aggregate sales value increased by 39% to Rs 435 crores. Shriram Properties said in a statement that the company's sales volume increased by 52 percent to 1.01 million square feet in the second quarter of FY23 from 0.66 million square feet in the first quarter of the same fiscal year.

The business recorded a sales volume of 1.67 million square feet during the first half of FY23, up from 1.56 million square feet in H1 of FY22. 

"The positive results on important operational metrics give us hope, and we anticipate that the momentum will continue in the seasonally prosperous parts of H2FY23. In addition to profitability in line with guidance, we are on track to meet our full-year goals for sales volumes, collection, and construction "Shriram Properties' chairman and managing director, M Murali, stated.
